There’s an arrow to show you where the clip is.

You can now see the mega fuse box fitted to the top of the 12v battery.

You don’t have to remove the rest of the plastic around it but it does give better access.

Take a 10mm socket and loosen the negative battery clamp.

It’s a good idea to tape it up or put a rubber protector on it so the earth clamp doesn’t accidentally touch it.

Look around the mega fuse box and you’ll find several clips.

Push them all in…

…and you’ll be able to lift the top of the mega fuse box off.

Using a 10mm and a 13mm socket, remove the 4 nuts highlighted below.

Now disconnect the current sensor by pushing in the 2 side clips and pulling connector upwards.

Pull out the cable restraint…

…and you can tip the mega fuse box up and towards the back of the car.

The battery is held in place with a strap.

Lift the strap up and press and hold the catch so you can pull the webbing strap through.

Finally, look down the left side of the battery. At the base of the battery is a clamp being held down with 2x 10mm nuts. Remove them and lift the clamp out off the studs.

You can now lift the battery out of the car.
What Battery Is It?
The battery is 207mm L x 175mm W x 190mm H
That makes it an 012 battery code.
Make sure you get an AGM battery too.
