The sight below is common. The mirror adjuster is purposely weakened at the base to snap if it is hit or pushed too far. Its main design is to be safe in a crash but can snap over time anyway.

We have three options:

  • Re-sleeve the stalk
  • Join the two snapped sections
  • Fit a new adjusterRe-Sleeving The Stalk
