453 Arm Rest Removal

Pull the seat forwards and fold the seat out the way a bit. There’s a access panel on each side…

…so lever those off…

…to reveal the the 4x Torx40 bolts.

Make your way to the top. Lever the SD card/USB panel out…

…grab it and lift…

…and disconnect the connectors.

The arm rest base will be loose but it’ll still be clipped in place. Lever it upwards…

…to disconnect the 3 plastic clips. Disconnect the connector for the 12v socket.

Underneath you’ll find a Torx20 screw to remove.

Now you’re left with the metal base.

On each side hidden under the carpet are a 10mm bolt on each side. Use a hexagonal socket to remove them.

Pull the firewall carpet back to find the final 10mm nut.

Remove that and you can take out the metal mount.

Fitting The Arm Rest

Believe it or not, just follow the above instructions in reverse. In fact, here, I’ll help you out.
