Unless you damage one of these panels, there is no reason to be playing with them. The way they are held to the car shows there is a good chance that they could rattle.

Open the rear glass hatch and remove the bottom Torx25 bolt.

Then remove the top Torx25 bolt.

Lift up and pull out to release the tab from behind the rear panel.

You can now pull the bottom part away from the car. If you have a rattle then stick some light foam behind it and screw it all back down.
