Remove the 3x Torx45 bolts.
Disconnect the 2 electrical connection from underneath.
Clean them up with electrical contact cleaner as they tend to corrode.
Cut the cable tie that holds another electrical connector.
Pull that connector out and disconnect it.
Look in the trailing edge of the door and remove the 2x Torx bolts.
The catch mechanism is now loose and can be pulled from the car… to a point.
You’ll be restricted by the interior door cable.
Disconnect the cable…
…and the latch mechanism is free.
Now you can check the switches, clean it all up and give it a good dose of lubrication.
