This is the engine of the 453. The airbox is over on the left. Look down the back of the airbox…

…and you’ll see 2 Torx25 screws. Remove them. You can use a 7mm socket to undo the hose clip that holds the pipe to the airbox lid. Disconnecting this pipe will allow a greater amount of movement of the lid. However, it’s not that necessary. There should be enough movement without disconnecting the pipe.

Slide the airbox lid away from your (towards the front of the car).

The air filter is now reveals. It’s a horrible colour. Pink! FFS.

Lift the filter out and…

…fit the replacement filter.

Refit the airbox lid and refit the 2x Torx25 screws.
